The
Team
The centre consists of three scientists mainly Aquifer modeler, Geophysicist,
Hydrogeologist from the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI),
Hyderabad, India and three scientists mainly Aquifer modeler, Hydrogeologist
and Geochemist from the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques
et Minères (BRGM), France with a number of research scholars
both from India and France.
The
Expertise
Thus the joint team is capable of tackling most of the problem of the
groundwater with their wide experience. In addition, the center enjoys
the expertise of both NGRI and BRGM in the related fields. The expertise

Geophysical equipments: SYSCAL Switch-18, Magnetic Resonance Sounding
Equipment etc. with software, AWLR, Bore-well flow meter, Water sampling
device, Geochemistry kits, GIS and database software, Geostatistical
software (PlayG, KOUED & KRIGNET), Global modeling tools (TEMPO,
GARDENIA..), Aquifer modeling (MARTHE, NEWSAM & MODFLOW), Pumping
tests interpretation (ISAPE) etc.
